Brian Moran takes Top Spot

Everyone enjoys a day by the sea, and when coupled with a game of golf at Woodbrook, the pleasure is multiplied, especially when the wind and rain take a holiday. Happily this was the case on Monday 11th July when, in glorious golfing conditions, Brian Moran showed that he is as adept at reading greens as he is at reading navigation charts by winning the Woodbrook outing, albeit on a countback , from Derek Richards. Both returned scores of 36pts and finished 2 shots clear of nearest challenger Paddy Higgins.
The Woodbrook course is not physically demanding but tree plantations and strategically placed bunkers call for accuracy off the tee and the undulating greens can catch you out on even the shortest of putts.
We are always well received here and sincerely thank Woodbrook for their continued hospitality.
