Two in a row for Tom at Beech Park
There are certain courses on our annual calendar where local knowledge is key and Beech Park is surely one of those.
When the PRTV Society visited on Monday 12th August, defending champion and Club member Tom Fleming made light of any pressure playing his home course as he strolled to a 2pt victory over GOY leader Michael Collins, the pair returning scores of 37pts and 35pts respectively. Next best was Pat O'Donovan with 33pts.
A slight breeze made for some challenging golf in the sunshine, and the majority of a smaller than anticipated field made it back to the welcoming clubhouse before the approaching showers arrived.
Many thanks are due to the hardworking ladies who kept us well fed following the golf and to Brian Kelly for once again organising the day.
