Seamus returns on a winning note Having missed most of the season fulfilling
commitments as Captain of Clontarf Golf Club in this its Centenary
Year, founding member Seamus Smith made a triumphant return to the
PRTV Society by claiming the Lakeland Trophy at The European Club
on Monday Nov.12th with a superb 37pts. Seamus had 4 pts to spare
over his nearest rivals, John Foley & Peter Rea, and was 3 better
than the leading visitor John O'Neill. The Links was presented once
again in magnificent condition, perhaps this year better than ever,
and with weather just like a summer's day only drier, it was a joy
to walk the fairways, hitting the odd good shot to the perfectly manicured
