Brian keeps the Beech Park flag flying at European Club

Having been won in 2022 by one member of Beech Park, the Lakelands Trophy has been claimed by another for 2023, when Brian Kelly took top spot on Monday 3rd April at the European Club, with 2pts separating him from his closest challengers Ronan Collins and Myles Cronan.
The breezy conditions dictated that precious stableford points would be hard to come by and so it proved, and a glance at the results will confirm the difficulty experienced by most.
The golf course is in splendid playing order right now and a credit to the greenkeeping staff and we thank Pat Ruddy for his hospitality and continued warm welcome for the Press Radio and TV Society.
A special word of thanks is due to Larry and the hard working catering team who looked after us so well, both before and after the golf, and we look forward to returning for more of the same in the years to come.
