Annual Charity Day @ Forrest Little

If it is now October, then it must be time for the PRTV to pay it's annual visit to Forrest Little for the Society Charity Day. All monies raised on the day are passed to the year's designated Charity, which is usually selected prior to the AGM.
19 teams teed off today, and despite a rather heavy hail shower late in the day, another enjoyable outing ensued.
Our thanks go to Forrest Little Golf Club for facilitating us once more, to everyone who turned out, and especially to those who organised 4-ball vouchers from their home Clubs.
This year's contest had to be decided on a countback as 2 teams returned scores of 90pts. The calming influence of Paddy Higgins was enough to secure 1st place for his team, which also included Tom Higgins, Donal Hampson, and our old friend Harry Caulwell - back golfing again after injury. They were pushed to the limit by Tony Dooley, Mick Daly and their guests, while the usual suspects from Skerries led by Tony Molloy and Bob Richardson took 3rd spot.
