PRTV Charity Day @ Forrest Little

With the golfing year now in the Autumn of its existence, the PRTV annual Charity day was held at Forrest Little Golf Club on Monday 28th September and what a day it turned out to be. In glorious sunshine with little or no wind, a large field assembled to battle for first pick of the golfing vouchers generously donated by many members' Clubs, and Myles Cronan's team from Howth, who were runners-up in 2014, went one better this year by securing that pick with a super score of 91pts. They had 2pts to spare over the Skerries team spearheaded by Tony Molloy, while Tom McGrane's 'A' team from Lisheen Springs sneaked into 3rd spot on a countback a further 5pts adrift.
The course looked and played magnificently and we are grateful once again to Forrest Little Golf Club for hosting the day. Full marks to the greenkeepers and catering staff, to our visitors for helping to make the day such a great success, and to all our members who organised the prize vouchers from their Clubs. The designated charity will be chosen prior to the AGM in February 2016, when this year's beneficiary will be revealed.
