Bright and Breezy Charity Day at Forrest Little
The annual Press Radio & TV Golf Society
Charity Day made a welcome return to the calendar on Monday 26th Sept.
following a break due to Covid restrictions. Bright and breezy conditions
were the order of the day, showing the Forrest Little golf course
in all its splendour.
Despite a great turnout, points scoring was on the low side, with
no team breaking 80, no doubt due to the cross course wind, very slick
greens, and some challenging hole locations.
Taking top spot was the team captained by Enda McDermott with 78 hard
won points, closely followed by the teams of Brian Moran and Captain
Michael Dunphy. In total 12 vouchers were won on the day and we are
sincerely grateful to the following Clubs for their ongoing support
for our charities :
Beech Park, Bray (2), Hermitage, Howth, Lisheen Springs, Newlands,
Old Conna, Rush,
Skerries, Slade Valley and St. Margarets.
At the prizegiving, Captain Michael announced St. Vincent DePaul as
this year's beneficiary and thanked Forrest Little for facilitating
this important event once again.
