Grange win softens Euros exit for Paul
Having witnessed the Boys in Green narrowly fail in France on Sunday 26th June, genial Hon.Secretary Paul McCarthy shook off that disappointment
on Monday 27th to narrowly snatch victory at Grange Golf Club. The winning score of 33pts was equalled by Pat O'Donovan but Paul took top honours by virtue of a better inward half. Vice Captain and Grange member Michael Collins was on hand to present the prizes, looking strong and healthy after his recent illness and let's hope he will be back chasing the small white ball in the near future. By all accounts a great day was had by all, although the course appears to have bettered us once again.
Many thanks to everyone at Grange for their hospitality and we look forward eagerly to another visit next year.
