No Green Problems for Dave
The Press Radio & TV Society bandwagon rocked up to Grange Golf Club on Monday 30th August, where Dave Green posted a very creditable 34pts to taste victory by the narrowest of margins. Left to rue an errant chip or a misread putt or two were Paddy Higgins with 33pts and the 2019 winner Padraig O'Ciardha with 32pts. Although the day was not as summery as recently, some Society hardy bucks could be seen wearing shorts, and with just a passing light shower sufficient to keep the dust down, conditions were very pleasant for spending the afternoon chasing a small ball around D16.
As per usual, Grange is in wonderful playing condition and testimony to the expertise of the greenkeeping staff, while we express our grateful thanks to the Catering folks for the welcome food both before and after the golf.
A visit to Grange is always eagerly awaited, and we are already looking forward to our 2022 visit.

While we are unable to have a formal sit-down dinner together, a two course meal will be served as each four-ball finish their game. Members can choose to eat outdoors or indoors. To eat indoors please bring your vaccination certificate and photo ID.
