Brian glides to victory at Greystones

Monday 9th October and the Press Radio and TV Golf Society are paying its annual visit to Greystones for the first of the Christmas competitions. But hold on a minute! What do I see out on the golf course? Umbrellas and wet gear being donned. Thankfully, the showers pass quickly to reveal another great day for chasing the small ball, and allowing our resident fly boy Brian Moran to successfully swap his usual mode of transport for the more down to earth golf buggy, post a very respectable 32pts, and win the first hamper of 2017.
Brian was chased all the way to the clubhouse by Peter Kennedy on 31pts and another dynamic duo - Aidan Butler and Michael Farrell - back on 30pts.
The course was in fantastic playing conditions with the greens as tricky as ever, while the catering after the golf was as good as ever too. Thanks Greystones for another super day.
Prizes will be presented at Royal Dublin on December 11th.
