Deirdre
triumphant at Greystones
Given the weather on Monday October 10th,
it was difficult to imagine that our Christmas Outing run had commenced,
but just like the Autumn sun, Deirdre Healy's golf game shone brightly
as she cruised to victory at Greystones with 36pts, pipping Paddy
O'Connor by 2.
The course was in excellent playing condition throughout, topped off
with perfect greens to test your skills to the limit, and a glance
at the scoreboard will testify to the fact that not everyone passed
with flying colours.
It is always a pleasure to visit Greystones, especially on such a
splendid day and we are grateful to experience the Club's hospitality
once again. A special word of thanks must go to
the bar and catering staff for keeping us well nourished following
our golfing exertions
Now it is on to Lisheen Springs for the next festive outing, which
will take place on
Tuesday 8th November.
