Jim races to victory at Greystones

Despite it being just like a summer's day, Monday 9th October saw the beginning of the 'Christmas Fare' outings for 2023 at Greystones, with Jim McNelis showing everyone the way home with a magnificent score of 33pts. In the distance some 4 pts behind him was nearest challenger Niall Kerney, while John Foley was a further point back.
The course was in super condition as usual but best played from the fairway, as any visit to the ball embracing rough risked dropping at least one shot, and we are grateful to the greenkeeping staff for all their hard work.
We also appreciate the efforts of the bar and catering teams for providing such wonderful hospitality and food both before and after the golf.
Next on the calendar is Lisheen Springs on Tuesday 8th November.
