Another Overall win for Captain Michael
Having already finished first at Skerries in April, our big hitting Captain, Michael Collins, showed his liking for North Dublin courses yet again by taking the top spot at the PRTV outing to Hollystown on Monday 12th June.

This time just a solitary point separated the winner's 37pts from the chasing pack, enthusiastically led by buggyman Tom McGrane, who narrowly failed to find the turbo button coming down the stretch.
Although the golfing gods smiled on us all day, a swirling wind made sure that only the best struck shots were rewarded, while the well presented greens were a joy to putt putt putt on. The seemingly endless procession of planes from nearby Dublin Airport was an added bonus for aircraft buffs, with wildlife enthusiasts also well catered for by the menagerie of coots, ducks, swans and others out enjoying the course and surrounding landscape.
We were also well catered for in the Club Bar and Restaurant following the golf, where great food was served by very pleasant and professional staff. As you drive into Hollystown Golf Club, a sign welcomes you to 'Dublin's Friendliest Golf Club'. Our experiences here would certainly endorse that claim, so many thanks to Brian Moran for adding this outing to the list and to Oliver and Ciaran Barry for hosting us at their excellent facility.

Note: The Captain and members of the Press Radio and Television Golf Society wish to extend sincere sympathy to esteemed member Aidan Butler on the recent sad passing of his father. May he rest in peace.
