Niall Springs to victory at Lisheen
It is just amazing the number of PRTV Society members who have registered their first overall win at Lisheen Springs. Yet another name was added to that list on Monday 18th September when Niall Matthews returned a very creditable 35pts to pip Des Long to the first prize by a single point.
Although the day was just perfect for golf, the turnout of members was surprisingly low, a hangover following the previous week's away trip to Mullingar perhaps, or still out celebrating Dublin's 3 in a row win in the All Ireland Final on Sunday. Nevertheless, most of those playing found scoring just as difficult as the footballers did, but had no trouble at all consuming the delicious food in the Clubhouse afterwards. Well done to the catering staff.
We hope to return for more next year.
