Marian wins at Lisheen with Late Run
Tuesday 7th November saw the Press Radio and TV Society visit Lisheen Springs once more and we were rewarded with a pleasant Autumn day and, despite the recent spell of inclement weather, an eminently playable golf course.
Playing in the final group, Marian Judge timed her run to perfection
to take the overall victory with 34pts, 3 ahead of her nearest challengers Aidan Butler, Tom Fleming, and Elaine Healy. Despite having to settle for a runner-up spot, Aidan strengthened his position at the summit of the 2023 Golfer of the Year table and is now unassailable with our final outing to Royal Dublin still to play.

We are grateful to Richard and Julie Kavanagh for facilitating our annual visit to this challenging and picturesque location, and we express our special thanks to Caitlyn and the catering crew for their efforts to ensure the late finishers did not go home hungry.
