Anne Marie crowned at Luttrellstown
Castle
A castle is a place of grandeur where a king or queen might live,
Luttrellstown Castle Golf Club is certainly fit for a king but on
Monday 28th May, it was very much a case of ladies to the fore as
Anne Marie Kearney was crowned queen, romping to victory with a superb
score of 39pts. Her nearest challengers, led by Rita Staunton and
including Michael Dunphy and Enda McDermott, were some distance back
on 32pts.
On a warm sunny day, the course and surrounding landscape looked picture
perfect, with recently hatched ducklings and cygnets busily exploring
their new environment under the watchful eyes of proud parents. Not
a good day to arrive at the venue and realise your camera battery
was back home in the charger.
Many thanks to everyone who contributed to another very enjoyable
PRTV outing at this quality facility, especially the greenkeepers,
bar and catering staff for their hospitality.
