2017 Season Opener at Malahide

The traditional opening of our Golfing Season took place on Monday 6th March at Malahide Golf Club, and although a little later than usual, drew a combative crowd.
Top spot went to Aidan Butler, laying down an early marker with a fine return of 38pts. Next best were the triumvirate of incoming Captain Michael Collins, Myles Cronan and Peter Kennedy, all with 34pts. The top six was completed by Brendan O'Farrell (33pts) and Eddie Hearns (30pts).
The Annual General Meeting followed the golf, with nothing strange or startling to report from there.
The really competitive stuff begins at Portmarnock on Monday 27th March with the tee from 9.45 to 11 a.m. so please contact Paul (087 2642637) to book your spot.
