Eugene registers initial win at Skerries
Meteorologically we are now in the season of Autumn, but it was still summer all the way for the PRTV outing to Skerries on Monday 15th Sept. where new boy Eugene Murray took his first overall prize with a super score of 38pts, two better than the chasing duo of Jim Doran and Martin Clancy. This north Dublin venue has always been popular with our members and although the day was perfect for golf, low scoring was at a premium, with many fancied players failing to match expectation, mainly because of slick greens and astutely positioned pins.
Our Society has been welcomed here for many years and we thank the good people of Skerries G.C. for their hospitality. The catering is first class and served with smiles, so we look forward to continuing our association for the forseeable future.
