Well done Mister Captain
A change of date, a change of season, but no change in what is needed to win when the Press Radio and TV Society visit Skerries. A look through the Archives shows that something in the high 30s or even into the 40's might not suffice, and so it was on Monday 10th April when our Captain, Michael Collins, tamed the course and put manners on the rest of the field with a super score of 43pts. Nearest challenger was Ray Maguire, 3 adrift, and everyone else left in their wake.
Following the sad demise of Rathcore, the Skerries outing was moved to this earlier slot and what a good decision it turned out to be. The weather was just about perfect for golf, the course was in good condition, and the catering was first class as usual.
Many thanks to everyone who turned out to make this another great day at one of our longest standing venues.
