Brian Bounces Back at Grange
Having narrowly missed out on a podium finish at the last few outings, Brian Kelly rectified matters with victory at the PRTV Society outing to Grange on Monday 5th September. As was the case last year, 34pts was the winning score, one more than nearest challenger Denis Foley.
Perhaps due to the afternoon starting time or the forecast of wet weather, attendance was smaller than anticipated for such a prestigious venue, but nevertheless, another enjoyable day was had by all present.
Grange is a magnificent place to play and socialise and we sincerely thank everyone at the Club for their hospitality, especially Michael Collins for organising the date and the industrious bar and catering staff for looking after us all so well.
Let us hope for more of the same next year.
